Support to mobilities with fewer opportunities and inclusion
A person with fewer opportunities is a potential participant whose personal, physical, mental or health situation would prevent him/her from participating in the project or mobility action without additional financial or other support. Higher education institutions having selected students or staff with fewer opportunities may apply to the National Agency for an additional grant to cover the supplementary costs of their participation in mobility activities.
In addition, "Inclusion support" is a financial support to cover additional costs for students and staff with fewer opportunities participating in mobility activities under the Erasmus+ Programme.
To access this support, participants must have a recognised and legally qualified disability of 33% or more, or suffer from physical, mental or health problems duly accredited by the corresponding medical certificate, as well as comply with the other eligibility criteria set out in the Programme.
The amount shall cover 100% of the actual eligible costs, directly related to their disability, or to their physical, mental or health problem, and provided that they are not covered through the budget categories "travel" (if relevant) and "individual support", including additional support for students with fewer opportunities.
Eligible selected participants must apply for support through an application addressed to the International Relations Office of the University of Murcia. The application shall be accompanied by the corresponding medical certificate, pro-forma invoices or other supporting budget documents. If deemed appropriate, a document explaining the aspects considered necessary to justify the request for additional support, or other considerations that may clarify the participant's situation, may be included.
The granting of inclusion support will be decided by the National Agency, after analysis of the documentation provided by the participant.
